Markslöjd has a policy to test and certify all products. First and foremost used Semko and Nemko that laboratory. Each component of a luminaire shall comply with their demands for material, thermal requirements, aging requirements, etc. Although the components are approved separately (eg, all holders and cords).

What does it mean that a product is S-marked?

S-labeling, which is optional, means that Semko as impartial testing laboratory certifying that the product meets all safety standards such as electrical safety, fire protection, mechanical injury risks mm.


 

What is the assembly class?
 

All fixtures are labeled with the type of installation class to which they belong.

- Class I means that the fixture should be connected to a grounded outlet.  

- Class II means that the sensor is "double insulated" and must not be grounded. 

- Class III means the luminaire is equipped with a transformer that is not enclosed.
   The transformer is therefore to disconnect and replace.

 

Vad menas med att en produkt är IP-klassad?
Anges enligt formeln IP XY, där X ersätts med en siffra som anger skyddet mot
inträngande "fasta föremål" (fingrar, damm etc), och Y ersätts med en siffra som anger skyddet mot inträngande vatten.
Ju högre siffra desto bättre skydd.

 

What can you do yourself in terms of electrical safety?
Generally, a private personal use Electronic in dry areas, not outdoors or in bathrooms.
